The property was only a short bus ride out of the centre of Newcastle. Whilst the area initially looked run down, the hotel deserves more than a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us early on the morning of our departure so we could collect our hire car at the airport. A short walk up a couple of blocks and you can enjoy some fine Persian food at the Rose Restaurant. We had a peaceful night's sleep on a comfortable bed. The shower was a bit tight, but workable.

The only downfall to our stay was the early morning delivery of food etc with the lorries outside our room. but this would not stop me from staying here again but I would request a different location of room .

Clean,spacious and great location. Opposite a main road but noise was at a minimum.

I enjoyed my stay here. Check in was good with very helpful staff. Room was comfortable, free WiFi excellent. Didn't have ensuite but actually the toilet and showers were clean and well stocked. There was a large sink in the room for washing ect. They are clearly cleaned regularly by the staff. No kettle in the room but there is a kitchen with all cooking facilities and fridges you can use. Also breakfast cereals with milk and toast are available free which I didn't notice when I booked. Free parking and many foreign restaurants and supermarkets and takeaway available. 20 minutes walk into town . I would not hesitate coming back here. If you can manage a few noises from the stairs and road noises late at night then you'll be fine.
